India: This is a picture I have done —

Taj: With an otter eating a fish.

India: No it’s an otter holding a fish.

Taj: Ohh! And that’s an otter swimming with a fish.

India: That’s an otter chasing a fish. And right there, that tiny little black thing is a little salamander.

Taj: And this bird is trying to catch a fish!

India: That’s a kingfisher, annnd it’s about to swoop in, and dive underwater. That baby otter is playing with a fish. That’s an otter that’s really advanced with catching fish, and it’s about to dive in to get one.

समाधिBot: What has it jumped from?

India: Oh, it’s jumped from… some sort of rock. Yeah, a rock. It’s jumped from a rock. An that guy’s just like, “Oh nooo…”

समाधिBot: He has an expression of foreboding on his face.

Zahra: And that fish is not… is that a fat fish?

समाधिBot: What about this guy down here?

India: Oh, he’s swimming away from the oldest otter.

समाधिBot: Does he realize he’s about to be a lunch?

India: Yes. You can see this by the expression on his face. He doesn’t seem very happy. But the otter does. Do you know anything about otters?

समाधिBot: Yes, they lie on their back in the water, and hold their food on their bellies, and look very cute when they’re having a little snack.

India: No it’s a river otter… a Britain Otter.

समाधिBot: A Britain Otter?

India: Yeah it lives in Britain.

समाधिBot: What’s this down here?

India: That’s a rock. Taji, do you know anything about otters?

Taj: Yeah. They like to swim, but if there’s something chasing them… if there’s a male trying to mate… the female runs — wait, swims away, and then it swims away into its burrow?

India: Mmm… I do not know what you just said, but I can tell… that wasn’t very making sense. Zahra do you know anything about otters? Besides they’re cute and cuddly? And they have teeth?

Zahra: Umm, yeah? Salamanders crawl under the ground?

India: We’re not talking about salamanders, we’re talking about otters. Okay I know something about otters. Otters are nocturnal, so they stay up late, and they wake up early in the morning to catch fish, when there’s not many big males around to —

Zahra: What about that little fishy?

India: That little fishy is a baby fish.

Zahra: And what is that?

India: That’s an otter, and it has just caught a fish.

समाधिBot: Is that fish still alive?

Zahra: No.

समाधिBot: It’s dead?

India: It’s touching the water.

समाधिBot: It’s still having a little drink?

India: Yes it’s… no it’s… no. That otter’s just faking because that fish is really its best friend. Yeah, it’s like, “I will protect you, fishy!” So it’s just pretending to kill it.

माधवी: Do we know where superglue is?

Taj: I don’t know.

Zahra: I don’t know.

India: We’re not talking about glue!

Taj: I know.

India: That big fish… is some kind of salmon… some kind of Britain fish. Anyway, as I was trying to say, otters are very intelligent animals…

माधवी: … superglue…

India: Mommy look what you did! Look what you did, Mommy! You ruined the interview!

समाधिBot: Again!

India: Interview off!
